Don't Stress - Just Rest
It's 2 o' clock in the morning and I'm just up chilling! I've always had trouble with sleeping throughout an entire night, don't ask why because I have no clue! But right now I'm just sitting here in complete awe of God y'all! Tonight I was able to minister to one of my best friends who really, really needed to hear the word of God.
He called me and we talked about some things going on with him right now and very little of it was positive! So I did the only thing that I knew would work and turn his entire night around, I talked to him about the love of God, the word of God and the plans that I know God has for him! I wasn't "preachy" or deep about it, I just was straight up and blunt. "There's no way you'll figure your life without God!" and the words that were spoken to my friend did not come from me. The Holy Spirit led me and gave my friend the peace and reassurance that he needed right at that moment of stress and weakness.
I want you to understand that God wants so badly for you to rely on Him. There is never a time where the Lord will say "Not right now, I'm busy!". His arms are ALWAYS and will forever be wide open and waiting to embrace you. The cares of this world have us so stressed and wore out that we forget we don't have to carry those burdens! We don't have to be so tired and weary! The spirit of the Lord is saying REST IN ME my child! Don't take on this life without my help and direction! The moment that you are convinced that you can do it all on your own is the second that failure knocks on your door! We work so hard for relationships, careers, accomplishments and assets that we disregard the only one who made all of these things possible!
In relying on and seeking God, we remain humble, We remain calm. We remain rested. In times of disappointments, stress, chaos and failures we have got to remember who our creator is and what He is capable of! Let's not underestimate the power of God people. Let's not forget that we have a Father who loves us so much that He'll take all of our worries off of our plate and grace us with the ability to live in total peace.
