Welcome to Lost And Found!
So this is my FIRST blog ever &I'm super excited to get this thing going! Before I get "deep" with you, I want to share a few things about myself so you're a tad bit more familiar with who I am and what I stand for! Sound good? Great :)
My name is Erica Sandford and I am a born again Christian! I was raised in church, so I've "known of" God all of my life, but didn't take the initiative to GET TO KNOW my Lord and savior, Jesus Christ until very recently (8 months to be exact)! In making the decision to get serious about God and strengthen my relationship with Him, I've faced tons of challenges and I'm still facing them daily: Changing so many things about myself that I thought "were apart of me" that are not Christ-like, changing the company that I keep (very, very essential to your spiritual growth), and ultimately transitioning into this virtuous woman of God that I was designed to be rather than act like an "independent", desirable, sexy woman that the world had convinced me that I wanted to be!
Okay, you're probably thinking "Yeah, big deal! You're not the only one with this story so why make a blog?" Well, it is true that I am not the only person who's been "saved and sanctified"! But I am more than willing and very passionate about TRANSPARENCY!! Meaning that I will blog A LOT about God, but I will not leave out the parts about the walk with Christ that MANY Christians don't care to share; their past, their flaws, their insecurities, their STRUGGLE! These are things I will address along with the life changing Gospel. I'm not here to say "Get saved! Love God! And live a CARE FREE LIFE!" In fact I would be a liar if I told you that's what Christianity is! God never promised us a care free life with no worries; but He did promise us peace, unconditional love, mercy & forgiveness and the inheritance of the Kingdom of Heaven if we follow our Lord & savior, Jesus Christ.
So, with that being said! I'm ready to get started with this blogging thing :) This was just an intro of who I am and what you can look forward to in my blogs in the very near future (I'm going to blog as often as possible)! I'll address everything from health & beauty tips to relationships to challenging you to take that leap of faith God has been putting it on your heart to take (Mhm, thought you were off of the hook didn't you? :) ) but in all of these topics, God will get all of the glory & acknowledgement! I hope you're as ready as I am!
